Overview
The Rosemount 8800 Reducer Vortex Flow Meter uses the trusted electronics, sensor, and meter body of the Rosemount 8800 Series together with an integral reducer design to measure lower flow rates more accurately. This design helps eliminate field assembly and welding of separate reducers and piping, reducing installation cost and project risk.
Key Features
- Reducer vortex flow meter for lower flow rate measurement
- Integral reducer design
- 4-20 mA with HART 5 or 7
- Optional scalable pulse output
- Turndown up to 38:1
- Gasket-free meter body design
- Isolated sensor for online replacement without breaking the process seal
- Same face-to-face dimensions as the traditional Rosemount 8800 Series
- Suitable for liquid, gas, and steam service
Applications
This series is suitable for industrial flow measurement where lower flow rate performance, simplified installation, and reduced project risk are important. It is appropriate for liquid, gas, and steam applications across a range of nominal pipe sizes.
